Device Overview : The CUBE 12V is an advanced GSM bug listening device that offers seamless remote audio monitoring from a room or a car over long distances. Operating on the GSM network, it relies on a 2G SIM card to ensure its normal operation. To check for compatibility, confirm that your chosen location is covered by a GSM signal, similar to what you’d do with a regular mobile phone. Prior to inserting the SIM card, make sure to disable the PIN number on another mobile phone. The device is powered by a 5-48V source, allowing versatile connectivity to various power options.

 

Installation and Powering On Instructions Of GSM Audio Bug :

  1. Insert a NANO SIM card with the PIN deactivated into the SIM card slot. Ensure the device is powered off before inserting the SIM card.
  2. Connect the device to an external power source (5-48V). The red wire signifies the positive (+), while the black wire represents the negative (-).
  3. Power on the device by connecting it to the 5-48V power source.
  4. The device can be switched off by disconnecting it from the power source. You can determine the device’s status through the LED light indicators

 

To set up the device for remote monitoring, follow these steps:

Step 1 : Install the device – Choose the location where you want to monitor and install the GSM listening device in a discreet and hidden spot. Make sure it is securely placed and powered on.

Step 2 : Activate administrator control – Ensure that you have the administrator number that you will use to control and listen to the device. This number will have exclusive access to the device’s functionalities.

Step 3 : Set up remote control via text message – On your cellphone, compose a text message to the device’s SIM card number. Make sure to use the administrator number as the sender. In the text message, include specific commands to control the device, such as turning on or off the sound alarm, vibrating alarm, or other desired features.

Step 4 : Customize your settings – Along with the commands to control the device, you can specify additional settings or preferences in the text message. For example, you can request real-time audio streaming or adjust the sensitivity of the sound alarm.

Step 5 : Receive audio remotely – Once you have sent the commands and customized the settings, the device will respond accordingly. To remotely listen to the audio captured by the device, simply call the SIM card number associated with the device from your cellphone. The call will establish a connection, and you will be able to listen to the audio happening in the monitored area.

 

Yellow LED Status:

  • Constantly On: Indicates no SIM card inserted or SIM card fault.
  • Fast Blinking: Suggests the device is searching for a GSM network.
  • Slow Blinking: Signifies that the device is connected to the GSM network and ready for use.
  • LED Off: Indicates that the device is switched off or in power-saving mode (shaking it can exit power-saving mode).

 

Using the Device:

  1. The CUBE 12V includes a security feature known as the administrator number. Only calls from the administrator’s number can access the device. To set your mobile number as the administrator, send the following text message to the SIM card number in the device: “000#+[Your Mobile Number]#”. Await an SMS response confirming the administrator setting. You can now call the device from your administrator number to listen to the surroundings.
  2. For added convenience, the device can activate alarm functions when it detects sound in the monitored area. Send an SMS to activate (“Activation: 333”) and deactivate (“Deactivation: 555”) this feature.

 

Device Location : The device can provide its approximate location via LBS base stations. This relies on the strength of the signal and the SIM card operator. To request the location, send “Location request: 999”. You will receive an SMS with a link to Google Maps displaying the approximate (LBS) location and the battery charge status.
